Join instructor, Samantha Lim, on
this fascinating journey through ten popular and exciting jewelry
design creations. From classic to modern, from elegant to fun,
these designs will dazzle your friends and family for many years to
come. This hands-on workshop will explore every facet of
hand-made jewelry design and construction, from supplying procurement
to stringing, beading, wiring, weaving, and accessorizing. (The
instructor will provide made samples as reference and for students to
draw inspiration from). Become familiar with popular gems,
pearls, beads, precious and semi-precious stones, metals, and other
jewelry components. We will also learn to source and purchase
supplies at the best places and prices around Shanghai. Come and
express your creative side in the design and construction of exquisite
jewelry for yourself or as a loving gift for that special
someone. At the end of the ten weeks, you will have acquired the
skills, techniques, and personal style to create your own original
jewelry from concept to finished product using materials from around
the globe. And if you have an entrepreneurial side, you will
possess a broad range of jewelry designs and styles in your personal
portfolio which can be adapted to any market, creating excellent income
potential for those interested in making custom jewelry as a part- or

Registration Procedure:
Please
register
online first to reserve your place. You will then receive a
confirmation email with further details. Next, payment must
be made on site at the ELC Learning Center during the payment dates
shown below (you can come in person or send someone).
Tuition payment for the Fall Session 2012 will take place every day (including
Saturday and Sunday) from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, from Thursday, September 20th
through Tuesday, September 25th, 2012. Payments will be received in the Registration
Office at the
ELC Learning Center.
