Lisa Raymond,
Principal Interior Decorator at Taisley Red Interiors, is an 8-year
Shanghai veteran and loves the design possibilities abundant in China.
While initially arriving in Shanghai to study the language, and
then taking a job in HR, Lisa realized she had skills and natural
aptitude for helping all of her co-workers get settled into their
homes. She began freelancing in Interior Decorating in June of
2006 for City Life Properties. After this successful beginning,
Lisa became a much sought after designer for expats looking to make a
home in Shanghai. Lisa left her desk job in HR in March of 2007
to pursue creativity and her passion for aesthetically pleasing
residential interiors, which led her to study at Philadelphia
University's Interior Decorating program. Lisa returned to
Shanghai in August of 2007 to launch Taisley Red Interiors and the
company has seen a successful first year. Taisley Red Interiors
is a full service, billingual interior decor design firm, specializing
in residential design.
