In this course you will learn how to use one of the most powerful tools
available to photographers, graphic designers, web designers and digital
artists; the software Adobe Photoshop. Some of the practical
applications of the software include; photographic retouching, repair,
color correction and enhancement, digital art & illustration, pattern
design, and image preparation for web and print. Primarily a
tutorial based learning environment, you will be guided through the
various aspects of the software, from basic concepts to more advanced
techniques. The topics covered in the lessons are as follows:
Introduction to the Photoshop work area
Basic photo corrections
Retouching and repairing images
Working with Selection
Layering basics
Masks and Channels
Correcting and enhancing digital photographs
Typographic design
Vector drawing techniques
Creating patterns and brushes
Special effects, Filters and Styles
Preparing files for the web and print
Upon completion of this course you will have gained an in-depth
practical knowledge of the software Adobe Photoshop, which will empower
you to create, prepare, and edit digital images on your computer.

You will then receive a confirmation email with further details.
Next, payment must be made on site at the ELC Learning Annex during the
payment dates shown below (you can come in person or send someone).
Tuition payment for the
Fall Session 2010 will take place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and
Monday, September 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th,
between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m..
Payments will be received in Ground-Floor Classroom at our ELC Learning Annex.
